    December Release: Year-End Plugin Upgrades and Fixes

    The latest software upgrade includes fixes and improvements to several plugins: The Framework plugin received the most enhancements, including compatibility for managing static assets on Roundcube 1.7 beta, optimizations for faster loading, an update to the latest IP-to-country database, fixes for link insertions from the Google Drive, Dropbox, and WebDAV plugins in the compose editor, and corrections to multidomain configuration loading.     The latest Roundcube upgrade introduces automatic message summaries in the AI Assistant plugin, now translated into the user's language. It also supports local LLMs via Ollama for enhanced privacy. Admins can now customize AI prompts for better performance. Additional improvements include clipboard buttons for Calendar and 2FA plugins, better identity handling in the Multibox plugin, dark mode compatibility for the Wallpaper plugin, and UI enhancements for select skins.     Plugin Update

    Major Plugin Upgrade - PHP 8.2 and RC 1.6.1

    We have just released a major upgrade to all the Roundcube Plus plugins. Let's take a look at some of the highlights:

    • All our software is now fully compatible with PHP 8.2 and Roundcube 1.6.1.
    • The 2FA plugin got Twilio support for sending SMS messages and a new option for bypassing authentication for trusted IP addresses.
    • We added a lot of new translations and updated the existing ones. All the plugins are now fully translated into 16 languages. (If you find any problems with the translations, feel free to correct them and send us the updated translation files; we'll include them in the source code in the next upgrade.)
    • A lot of work has been done under the hood to make the plugins more reliable and more secure.
