We've released an update to the 2FA plugin with support for WebAuthn, the browser-native standard behind passkeys and FIDO2 security keys.
Passkeys and security keys
The new WebAuthn method supports platform authenticators such as Touch ID, Windows Hello, and Android biometrics, hardware security keys, and passkeys stored on phones or tablets.
Administrators can control which authenticator types are allowed and how strictly user verification is required through new configuration options.
PHP 8.0+ now required
With this release, all Roundcube Plus plugins require PHP 8.0 or later. This moves the software away from older, end-of-life PHP versions.
