The latest Roundcube upgrade brings several exciting enhancements and new functionalities!
AI Assistant Plugin
The AI Assistant plugin (formerly AI Composer) now includes a powerful new feature: automatic message summaries. These summaries can be displayed by hovering over the message title and at the top of the opened email. Even better, they are automatically translated into the current Roundcube language, ensuring readability regardless of the original message's language.
We've also introduced support for local LLMs via Ollama. This means you can connect the AI Assistant plugin to your own server.
Admins now have the ability to modify the prompts used for composing messages and generating summaries. This customization option allows for fine-tuning AI functionality to better align with the chosen model.
Calendar & 2FA Plugins
We've introduced new 'copy to clipboard' buttons to improve user convenience. Additionally, if your Roundcube setup includes the 'use_secure_url' option, the Calendar's publishing functionality is now fully compatible with encoded URLs, enhancing security and accessibility.
Multibox Plugin
The Multibox plugin has received a rework of its identity change mechanism on the mail page. This update ensures that the selected IMAP server settings are consistently applied, preventing any issues when switching between different mail accounts. Users can now expect a smoother and more reliable experience when managing multiple inboxes.
Wallpaper Plugin
For users who prefer dark mode, the Wallpaper plugin now offers improved compatibility with skins that support it. This means background images will blend more seamlessly with darker themes, providing a visually cohesive and polished appearance without readability issues.
Outlook Plus, Gmail Plus, and Droid Plus Skins
The latest update brings several UI improvements to the Outlook Plus, Gmail Plus, and Droid Plus skins. These refinements enhance the overall aesthetics and usability, ensuring a more modern and intuitive interface that aligns with current design trends.
